Education for Peace Institute

SERPAJ-Ecuador created the Education for Peace Institute as an instrument, from the standpoint of education, to confront the increase of violence which we are seeing at all levels and environments: the violence from war, hunger, exploitation, inequality and exclusion – violence that decimates the dream of human development.

IDEPAZ has developed an educational proposal in which peace is the result of the exercise of both rights and responsibilities; the fruit of just, equitable, and harmonious relationships; and is framed within a global project working towards the development and strengthening of a culture of peace within society.
