As part of the process of forming "Educators for Peace," SERPAJ Ecuador organizes this meeting of teachers who have participated for the past three years in educational workshops such as Active Nonviolence and a Culture of Peace.

The objective is to create a space for reunion and reflexion and to continue the educational proposals of the Culture of Peace, Active Nonviolence, and Conscientious Objection that guides the work of the "Educators for Peace."

The network of Educators for Peace met on April 28th, 2006, in the Pedro Saad de San Lorenzo High School in order to advance the planning and functioning of the network. Fifty teachers received certificates for their attendance and work with past courses.
